Today we did page 51, 53 and 54 in the book. We reviewed house and furniture vocabulary and prepositions on place. We also talked about apartment vocabulary and abbreviations.

In the computer lab, you checked your e-mail from me and practiced with the Digital Workbook. #7 and #9. If you had time, you also practiced typing. The link is on my CALL website.

1. Do any old homework. Correct your Welcome Unit test. Here is the key.
2. English in Action 2 Unit 3: Home:  Review pages 50-54. Here is the link to listen. You can slow down the audio and repeat after the speaker. Learn the new vocabulary (meaning, pronunciation, spelling). Review home, furniture and prepositions of place vocabulary. Also, learn apartment vocabulary and abbreviations (short forms).
3. English in Action 2 Unit 3 Workbook packet: ONLY A, B, C pages 20-21 and G, page 24.
4. Finish Extra Practice #2 for Monday. Choose how you want to practice each skill and write in on the chart. This is extra practice, not regular classwork or homework.
