I have been a librarian at PCC since 2011, and a favorite part of each day is talking to people, so please introduce yourself. I am often found in the Learning Garden at the Rock Creek campus, or you could meet me in one of your classes where I frequently lead sessions on how to do research more effectively. I first considered becoming a librarian while in college after developing a regular habit of visiting the research help desk to talk through assignments and develop my thinking. Now I am the lucky librarian who gets to meet with students every day to support their college work and I love it! My professional interests include: assessment of student learning and the library’s role in student engagement. I believe good work is driven by meaningful collaborations, and often get out of the library to connect with students, faculty, and campus partners. My personal interests include cooking (and eating!), reluctant running, yoga and impromptu dance parties with my kids.
