I love everything about libraries, from the dusty books containing the wisdom of the ages to the awesome technology that connects us to the newest information. It is an honor to work in the beautiful new PCC Southeast Campus Library in the heart of a thriving educational community. Before working in libraries, I earned advanced degrees in religion and philosophy, with a focus on social ethics. My ethics background is useful every day in libraries, as we navigate the challenges and opportunities of the information age. I am proud of my work with the Intellectual Freedom Committee of the Oregon Library Association, which fights for the free and open access to information. Outside of libraries, I love exploring Oregon’s wonderful forests and beaches, bicycling, gardening, cooking, traveling with my family, and reading with a cat on my lap.
