My name is Yumiko Omata (she/her). I have been teaching first-year Japanese courses at PCC since 2021. My primary campus is Cascade, but I also teach at the Sylvania campus and online courses over Zoom. I aim to create a student-centered, positive learning environment that encourages students’ active participation and supports their overall Japanese proficiency.
