Note: Please try to finish the homework before the next class. You don’t need to send it to me because we usually talk about the answers in class. Also, when you finish the homework & prepare for class, it helps me decide if you will be ready for the expectations of Level 4 or not.

1. Student Book page 22, Exercise A. Finish the exercise in your student book, or, for extra writing practice, copy the sentences into your notebook. We’ll talk about the answers in class tomorrow, Thursday, January 22, 2026.
2. Student Book page 31, Exercise E. Correct the mistakes; note: 2 of the sentences have no mistake. We’ll talk about this information in class tomorrow, Thursday, January 22, 2026.
3. Continue to practice the clarification questions on your pink slip. Try to memorize them and use them outside of class.
4. Extra online practice with 3rd-person -s spelling. Check your own answers.

1. Student Book page 30 — “The Average Brazilian”. Read the article about people in Brazil. Underline new vocabulary that you want to remember and talk about in class. We’ll read this together and discuss it in class on Monday, January 26, 2026.
2. Writing: Student Book page 24, Exercise B. Write true information about yourself. Use the words in the exercise. Examples: I never go dancing. I do the laundry a few times a week. Please write the sentences on 8-1/2 x 11 inch paper, use blue or black pen, and skip lines. Try to finish and hand this in to me on Monday, January 26, 2026.
