Week 6 (July 28 to 31, 2025) homework

Note:  Please try to finish the homework before the next class.  When you finish the homework & prepare for class, it helps you participate more efficiently and effectively.
Homework from Monday, July 28, 2025:

1. Student Book page 59, Exercise E (<– Click here for the audio.) In your notebook, listen and write the questions you hear about Montana.   We’ll check the questions in class on Wednesday, July 30, 2025.

2. Student Book pp. 60-61 — Death Valley.  Watch the VIDEO (<– click here) about Death Valley. Try watching it with and without the captions on the right. Then read and listen (AUDIO here) to the information about it on pp. 60 & 61. Make notes of new words and interesting information that you see in the video and read in the text.  We’ll talk about this in class on Wednesday, July 30, 2025.

3.  Practice with too and enough <– Click here for the handout.  Write a reason for each opinion on the handout or in your notebook. We’ll talk about this in class on Wednesday, July 30, 2025.

Extra listening practice:  What do you like about your hometown? <– Listen to Sarah tell John what she likes about her hometown, Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Read along with the script and try the “quiz”.

Homework from Wednesday, July 30, 2025:

1. Student Book pages 58-59 (<– Click here for the main audio about Montana.) In your notebook, complete Exercises C & D. We’ll check your answers in class tomorrow, Thursday, July 31, 2025.

2. Student Book pp. 60-61 — Death Valley.  Continue to learn about Death Valley National Park. Watch the VIDEO (<– click here) again. Try watching it with and without the captions on the right.
