Week 3 (October 6 to 9, 2025) homework
Note: Please try to finish the homework before the next class. You don’t need to send it to me because we usually talk about the answers in class. Also, when you finish the homework & prepare for class, it helps me decide if you will be ready for the expectations of Level 4 or not.
Homework from class Monday, October 6, 2025:
1. Workbook page 6, Exercise H <– Click here for the audio. Listen and fill in the diagram of a school. We’ll check your answers in class on Wednesday, October 8, 2025.
2. Writing about Hillsboro Center. Use the diagram I gave you in class. Write some sentences (5 or more) about Hillsboro Center in your notebook. Examples: The copy machine is behind the reception. Room 105 is next to Room 104. Use prepositions like on, in, next to, across from, etc. We’ll check your writing in class on Wednesday, October 8, 2025.
3. Student Book page 7, Exercises D & E. Practice the questions and short answers in Exercise D with a friend or family member. Use the blue boxes to help you. Listen and repeat the sentences in Exercise E 🎧 <– click here for the audio 🎧.

1. Handout: Practice with at/on/in with place <– Click here for the handout. Complete the exercises on the handout, or, for extra writing practice, copy the exercises into your notebook. We’ll check the answers in class tomorrow, Thursday, October 9, 2025.
2. Continue to practice the clarification questions on your pink slip. Practice with a friend or family member. Study suggestion: Find an interesting picture and ask about things in the picture.
Homework from class Thursday, October 9, 2025:
1. Listen & write about Kenji <– Click here for the audio. Listen to the audio about Kenji. Take a few notes. Then write a few (5 or more) sentences with the information. Example: Kenji is a student. He is from Japan. He lives in California. Write your sentences in your notebook. We’ll check them in class next week.
2. Preview Student Book pages 8 & 9 and pages 12 & 13 to prepare for class on Monday.
