Note: Please try to finish the homework before the next class. You don’t need to send it to me because we usually talk about the answers in class. Also, when you finish the homework & prepare for class, it helps me decide if you will be ready for the expectations of Level 4 or not.
Homework from Monday, April 14, 2025:
1. Workbook page 15, Exercises C & D. Complete the exercises in your workbook, or, for extra writing practice, copy them into your notebook. We’ll check the answers in class on Wednesday, April 16, 2025.
2. Workbook page 18, Exercise I <– Click here for the audio. Listen to the questions and write them next to the correct answer. #5 is an example. You can write the questions in your workbook, or, for extra writing practice, copy them into your notebook. We’ll check the answers in class on Wednesday, April 16, 2025.
3. Student Book page 38, Exercise C <– Click here for the audio. Listen to the conversation about Laura’s expenses and fill in the chart. For extra writing practice, you can copy the chart into your notebook.

1. Student Book page 39, Exercise F. Write WH- questions about the pictures. Use the WH- words and vocabulary provided. You can complete the exercise in your book, or, for extra writing practice, write the questions in your notebook. We’ll check the answers in class on Monday, April 21, 2025.
2. Reading & practice: Introduction to financial terms <– Click here for the handout from class. Review the text on pages 1 & 2 and circle vocabulary you want to remember. Try the “Reading Check,” “Vocabulary” and “Grammar” exercises on pages 3 to 5. We’ll continue to talk about this in class next week.
3. Listening: Workbook page 18, Exercise H <– Click here for the audio Listen to the audio a few times and circle true or false for each sentence. We’ll check the answers in class on Monday, April 21, 2025.
4. Study for your question quiz! You will have a quiz on Wh- and Yes/No questions in simple present on Monday, April 21, 2025. The quiz items will be similar to the warm-up exercises from Wednesday and Thursday this week and similar to some of the online exercises from CALL class.
