Welcome to the PCC Enneagram Detective Series

Enneagram Detective 1 – Finding Your Type.  Access your inner detective with the enneagram personality system. This ancient psychological tool clearly describes 9 personality types to explain patterns of behavior. This class introduces the 9 types, centers of intelligence, wings and arrows.

Enneagram Detective 2 – Instincts and Relationships.    Personalities are unique but behaviors can be described by 9 enneagram types and 3 biological instincts. Applying these tools helps you see your own tendencies and those of friends & coworkers which brings understanding to relationships. Pre-req for this class is Enneagram Detective 1 or knowledge of the types

Enneagram Detective 3 – Contemplative and Nondual Aspects    The enneagram’s ancient contemplative roots are complementary to modern nondual teachings. In this class we explore our true nature as it resides in the background, encompassing personality and beyond. There is really no need to transcend.

Mysteries of the Enneagram: The Four-Five Gap
Types 4 & 5 are located at the bottom of the Enneagram. The Gap between them has been a source of speculation. What’s the meaning of this Gap? Join us for an exploration into this mystical space located between Types 4s & 5s. All types are welcome.

About Richard Hoiland

In 2012 I completed teacher certification training in The Narrative Enneagram program. At that time I was working as an engineer for the City of Vancouver. I began teaching enneagram workshops in Portland and Vancouver, and in 2017 I retired from engineering

PCC contacted me in early 2020 and asked if I would teach the enneagram online during the Covid shutdown period. I have since taught here and also for other community education programs in California and Oregon.
