As Library Faculty, Pam advocates for “information literacy” sequenced across the curriculum. She serves on the Reading Apprenticeship Leadership Team and RA Community of Practice. She occasionally teaches the 1-credit course LIB 101.

Pam has served as the Chair for the Information Literacy Advisory Group of Oregon (ILAGO), and serves as the Higher Education representative to the Oregon Association of School Librarians Board (OASL).  She worked  with the Library Standards/Learning Goals committee of OASL to create Learning Goals for K-14 students for the Oregon School Library Standards.
