Welcome to my home page. I hope that this page is helpful, in terms of giving you information about what I am currently teaching, as well as information about my background.
I am in my 14th year as a full-time mathematics instructor at the Southeast Campus of Portland Community College, after having spent 10 years at the Cascade Campus (FT) and 1 year at the Rock Creek Campus (PT). I made many mistakes early on, but as Michael Jordan once said, “Because I fail, is why I succeed.”
I have three kids: Daniela, 26; Nicholas, 23; Miguel, 19. The lady with me in the picture above is my wife, Indira, from Barranquilla, Colombia.
Please feel free to stop by my office, whenever we are back on campus (SCOM 214), whether it is to ask about mathematics, chat about things, or just to say hello!
