We started reading Restaurant Reviews, p. 150.
I also gave out papers with winter class information. I will register you this week for your winter class. You can pay for the class now or in January. If you need a free class, fill out this form now. You only have to fill it out one time for winter. You will get an e-mail after you fill it out.
On Friday, you will write the Unit 8 test. Please study this information:
Vocabulary: adjectives (p. 140, p. 141, p. 142, p. 144, p. 146)
Simple past be verb (affirmatives, p. 142; negatives, p. 144; yes/no questions, p. 145; how questions, p. 146. You will write questions and answers (sentences).
Topics: hotels, restaurants, travel
We will review Unit 8 on Wednesday and Friday before the test.
Homework for Wednesday
1. English in Action 2: Review page 147. Read the restaurant reviews on pages 150-151. You can also listen to them.
2. English in Action 2: Finish your workbook packet.
3. Do Voicemail #4. Tell me about your long weekend. How was it? What did you do? Tell me about 5 things you did or didn’t do.
5. Finish any late homework and corrections. Return PCC books on Friday.
