Gia Whitlock next to her large-scale painting “Caddy Shackin'” at the Dimensions Pop Up Show, September, 2025.
Gia Whitlock earned an MFA in Visual Studies from Pacific Northwest College of Art in 2025. Dream journaling is a staple in Gia’s emotional life and her graduate thesis research centered on five of her dream journals from 2024. Gia’s large-scale mixed media paintings often feature interior spaces loaded with dream content blended with nostalgic objects. Play is essential to Gia’s work and life in general. This class aims to inspire participants, giving them an opportunity to play with found objects, writing, drawing, printmaking, and painting in a fun, casual atmosphere.
