CASAS (Comprehensive Adult Student Assessment Systems)
Why take CASAS?
-
All ESOL students in Levels 1-2-3 take the test at the beginning and end of each term. This shows that you are learning more and more English every term!
-
The State of Oregon gives PCC money for each student who takes the test. This helps make ESOL classes cheaper.
-
The test shows your READING SKILLS ONLY on the day that you take the test.
What is on the CASAS test?
-
G number, first name and last name.
-
Practice: What is the right test for you?

-
The computer uses these questions to choose the right test for you.
