Since 1975 the Oregon Arts Commission has helped manage the purchase and display of art work in public buildings. The Legislature drafted the “Percent for Public Art” program that gave PCC the opportunity to beautify its new buildings, including the library facilities, at each campus. As a result, PCC Library locations are rich with art. PCC art instructors are well represented, and some well-known international and Northwest artists grace the walls.
