Perceptive Content

Perceptive Content Imaging Software is a sophisticated digital document management system. It uses scanning technology to convert physical documents into digital files. These files are then stored in a structured database, making it easy to access and manage information.  The files are saved to a shared file/directory to be utilized by other applications such as Banner or AdvisorTrac. Users can view these documents later by searching within the imaging program, or by pulling up a specific Banner (or other program) record and viewing all imaged documents associated with that record. Users must request a Perceptive Content account, and may need to request to install Perceptive Content software for their computer.

Perceptive Content is a powerful virtual filing system that captures, indexes, and stores documents, allowing users to categorize and retrieve them efficiently. Users can apply metadata (like titles or keywords) to documents, making searches fast and precise. This software also has workflow capabilities, allowing you to route documents for approvals or reviews electronically, and offers security features to protect sensitive information.

Perceptive Content requires a VPN, even when on-campus.
