Client Services: Software Updates

Good afternoon all,

Starting today, Client Services is beginning to roll out two new updates to two different groups of workstations. First, we will be deploying out to Mac workstations, our updated VPN client. This VPN update will not impact current connections, as it will be installed the next time you log-in to your device. Secondly, we are currently targeting South East campus desktops to receive an updated version of McAfee Endpoint Security.

If you are using either a Mac device or a device associated with the South East campus,  you may see prompts and momentary changes as these upgrades are being installed on your workstations. Once the updates are completed, if you notice any issues with your device, please first try to restart the device to see if that fixes the issue. If not, please reach out to the Service Desk at 971-722-4400 or servicedesk@pcc.edu.
