Learning Garden Coordinator – Corrie Larson
Corrie Larson is responsible for developing the Learning Garden. She builds connections with faculty, staff, students, and the Newberg community to inspire participation in various gardening projects. Her work inspires people to explore how their skills, natural curiosity, creativity, and desire to give back can translate into hands-on gardening outlets. When she is not plastering the walls of the cob garden shed, hunting down reusable supplies, or organizing workshops, Corrie can be found recruiting student volunteers, exploring the logistics of community gardening, and helping weeds find their true calling. With a background in writing, volunteer work, teaching, and an interest in alternatives to the status quo, Corrie brings to the garden a love of learning and big-picture enthusiasm for connecting people and resources.
