The Medical Assisting Program at Portland Community College has maintained it’s CAAHEP programatic accreditation since 1974. We are a 1-year certificate program in Medical Assisting and work hard to keep our curriculum current. Our program focuses on the Patient-Centered Medical Home metrics and delivery. This means we emphasis collaboration, communication, critical thinking, and professional development.
