You have 4 activities to do today. Please do them in the order listed.
1. Log in to MyPCC.
Go to my.pcc.edu Login with your PCC username and password.If it is your first (1st) time logging in, watch this video. <=click If you don’t know your username, ask Tara.If you forgot your password, ask Tara.
Check your MyPCC email. Find an email from Tara. Read the email and write a short response.
2. Log in to D2L
Watch this video about opening D2L. <= click You only need to watch the first three minutes (3:00).Open D2L and click on our class D2L page. Read the announcement and take the “quiz.” (It is not a quiz…just practice).
3. Quizlet
Quizlet is a very useful site and app for practicing vocabulary. I make Quizlet sets for vocabulary and verb quizzes. You can make your own Quizlet sets to study on your own. You will need to create an account. Use your PCC email address and choose a password that is easy to remember.
- Study the vocabulary for Unit 3 Working and Saving. 1) Scroll down to see the words on the list. 2) Do the Learn activity. 3) If you have time, do the Match activity.
4. Dictations
- Listen to Tara read the present tense sentences. <=click Write the sentences in your notebook.
- When you finish, check your answers here. <=click Make sure you use correct spelling, capitalization, and punctuation.
