Hello! I’m Jill Tuleya and I have been with PCC since 2012. From 2012-2023, I taught Yoga and Meditation for Physical Education, and my colleague Alma and I co-developed and led Oregon’s first for-credit Yoga Teacher Training Certificate program for Exercise Science. I also developed PCC’s first fully online Yoga courses for replication across the college and I designed and led Mindfulness workshops and weekly practices for PCC staff, faculty and community members.

Currently, I am teaching part time for PCC’s Human and Family Services (HUS) department and Community Education facilitating Adult, Youth and Higher Education Mental Health First Aid courses. These courses teach people how to identify and appropriately respond to signs and symptoms of mental health and substance use challenges.

I also serve as the MHFA Coordinator for HUS. If you are a credit-seeking student, are registered for a HUS 102 Adult or HUS 106 Youth MHFA course and have questions about the course, including the required pre-work, please feel free to email me at jilltuleya15pcc@gmail.com or call me at 971-722-3743. If you have questions about MHFA courses through Community Ed, please contact Erika Huffman at erika.huffman@pcc.edu .

When I’m not teaching or coordinating for MHFA courses, you can find me hiking or volunteering on the trail with Trailkeepers of Oregon, gardening, walking my neighborhood or curling up with a good book and a cup of tea.

– Jill
