Regina Dowd, CPPB – Contract Specialist
My PCC Journey started as a student in 2011. While dual enrolled at PCC & PSU, I earned my Associate of Science, Oregon Business Transfer degree. I joined PCC’s Human Resources department as an employee in 2013 while I completed by BS in Business Administration at Portland State University. Worked in Professional Development & Training at the CLIMB Center for a year. Joined Procurement & Contract Services as a Purchasing Specialist in 2017. After two years, I was hired into my current role as a Buyer/Contract Specialist. I’m incredibly lucky to work with such a great team.
As a lifelong learner, tuition reimbursement is one of my favorite employee benefits. I love taking classes, especially through Community Ed. Some of the more interesting classes I’ve taken are Chocolate Making, Foraging for Mushrooms, Jewelry Making, Corvids of the PNW (I love the Stellar Jays in my backyard), and Reiki Energy Healing. Recently took classes in Drone Basics and Drone Photography.
My schedule:
Downtown Center on Monday & Tuesday from 8:30 – 4:30.
Home Office on Wednesday through Friday from 9:00 – 6:00.
