Hi! I’m Cindy Baldwin, and I’m excited to help you strengthen your writing and achieve your writing goals. I’m a fiction author, poet, and writing teacher. I’ve published five books with HarperCollins, including Where the Watermelons Grow and No Matter the Distance, which have received numerous awards and honors, including an Oregon Book Award Finalist and two Oregon Spirit Book Award Honors. I’ve taught writing classes through many conferences and other programs; my favorite thing to do as a teacher is help students learn to write immersive prose with a strong grasp of story structure. My classes are built on a mix of lecture, writing exercises, and workshop opportunities.
