Digital Photography: Advanced
The 20th Century gave rise to a number of movements in photography and established photography as a fine art form. Assignments will emulate or be inspired by photographers presented and discussed in class. Studying their techniques and approaches may help enhance your perceptions and nurture a better understanding of your own work. We’ll explore how they were also inspired and influenced by others.
Shooting assignments will be given, class review sessions, both on screen and with prints. We will be shooting primarily in manual mode. A solid familiarity with your camera is required. Two field trips will also be scheduled.
