Arthouse Cinema/Midnight Movies: Foreign & Offbeat 1954-1972

Campus contacts

The Arthouse film movement brought the finest films to American theaters. 1954 to 1972 was a fertile time for world cinema. It evolved and spawned midnight movies and cult cinema such as The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Night of the Living Dead and Pink Flamingos. Don't worry, El Topo and Eraserhead are NOT required viewing.
