Ophthalmic Medical Technology
Ophthalmic Medical Technicians perform ophthalmic procedures under the supervision of a licensed physician. PCC's OMT program offers an Associate of Applied Science in Ophthalmic Medical Technology. Upon completion of the program, you will be eligible to test for national certification as an ophthalmic technician. Becoming a certified ophthalmic technician (COT) gives you a competitive edge in a field where employers are actively seeking credentialed candidates.
The program is limited to students officially accepted into the program, after all requirements are met. Please visit the OMT program website, www.pcc.edu/omt for more information, requirements, orientation dates and application process.
