Traditional Sampler Quilt
This class is for intermediate quilters. Learn to make a beautiful quilt hosted by Eleanor Burns and other women who set guidelines and selected the patterns to create this wonderful sampler quilt. Learn new skills and get your questions answered about your quilting projects.
Students will be completing a 57"x70" quilt and learning construction methods and techniques to make twelve different blocks: Wandering Star, Tumbleweed, Irish Chain, Christmas Star and others. This includes sashing, borders and binding. Students will be cutting and sewing one to two blocks per week knowing how to reduce the bulges, hills or big knots. Bring your own sewing machine to class with basic sewing supplies. Instructor will send a supply list to students along with a fabric list. Students should expect to spend a supply fee of around $130.00 that will cover batting, quilting, trimming and the pattern.
