Explores careers in the exercise science and fitness industry. Provides an overview of the concepts, skills, and methodology required to become an effective instructor of fitness and movement. Provides an opportunity to gain practical experience investigating the role of an exercise professional in fitness clubs, community-based wellness centers, and other locations. Prerequisite: (WR 115 and RD 115) or IRW 115 and MTH 20 or equivalent placement. Audit available. (See course content and outcomes.)
