Learn the foundations of the ancient health system of Ayurveda (Indian medicine). Discover how to balance the mind, body and spirit through both Yoga and Ayurveda.Course teaches Yogic Asana and Pranayama, and their interrelationships. Includes mantra, yantra, dharana and Dhyana through lecture, discussion, demonstration and practice.
Yoga philosophy, lifestyle and ethics for daily living. Understand ancient Indian life knowledge and the 8 limbs of yoga. Observe and practice concentration, meditation and concepts of Samadhi. Understand the formation of imbalanced conditions and the best time of day for best results with Asana and Yoga Kriyas. Focus on Patanjali’s Yamas and Niyamas. Course covers ethics of yoga student/teacher and boundaries.
