Examines the individual, behavioral, social, and cultural factors impacting the health and wellness of men. Provides an overview of health differences between various communities of men. Explores possible root causes of these differences. Discusses health and wellness promotion strategies. Prerequisites: (WR 115 and RD 115) or IRW 115 and MTH 20 or equivalent placement. Instructor comments:

Texbooks can be accesed from the Rock Creek and Sylvania bookstores.

Students will also practice searching for and reading peer-reviewed research articles.

Students will be taking an active role in the learning process. Some material will be provided, but much will be created as the course progresses. As a result, it's not advised to be a passive participant in the class.

There's a Required Orientation Quiz must be completed by Thursday, September 24, 2020.
