When properly tuned and maintained, diesel engines can be given an almost indefinite lifespan. Come learn to analyze and diagnose each supporting system of the small marine diesel engine. If you own a boat, you should have these skills!
Class format includes demonstrations, videos, lecture and hands-on learning. You'll learn: How and why marine engines and electrical systems work; troubleshoot a diesel fuel system, a marine cooling system, and an electrical circuit, to understand the relationship between horsepower and propellers and safe working procedures.
