ART272A Introduction to Screenprinting

Introduces basic screenprinting processes, techniques, and concepts while addressing historical and contemporary issues. Covers an introductory level of creative problem solving with an emphasis on image generation and photo emulsion processes. Includes industry terminology, critiques, discussions, and presentations to establish critical skills necessary to evaluate prints, explore artistic intent, examine aesthetic and structural solutions, and expand perceptual awareness.
