Ayurveda food therapy and herbal studies advance students knowledge of pathology and impaired metabolism within the nutritional therapy model. Participants will be introduced to a directed selection of pathologies and discuss approaches in use and appropriateness of specific foods, including overview of diet, therapeutic food formula s and nutrient actions. Students should expect to invest a minimum of 2-3 hours of study time for every hour of lecture in order to be successful in this course.
