Covers exercises that deal with acute or chronic injuries or disabilities to improve fitness, health and overall wellness. Continues to develop knowledge and skills needed to perform safe and proper group and individual fitness exercises. Introduces activities adapted to disabilities to promote and emphasize cardiorespiratory conditioning, muscular strength and endurance, flexibility, and body composition. Introduces instruction regarding individual exercise programming utilizing two or more components of fitness (muscular strength and endurance, cardiovascular fitness, flexibility, body composition.)
