Use curves and masking for recreating the image as you experienced it. Also explore powerful tools for color correction, saturation control, edge burning, cloning and more.
Full image editing requires two programs, RAW and Photoshop. RAW, which is taught in the Fall, allows image adjustments without any image loss. Photoshop editing offers tools for fine tuning the edit, and is taught in the Winter. Curves allow very precise tonal and color adjustments. Combining curves and other tools with a mask allows separate adjustment to any part of the image. Using both RAW and Photoshop, photographers can achieve maximum control of the image edit.
