Includes three topics: Business Practice, Ethics & Counseling, Nutritional Research and Resources, and Nutritional Supplementation. Explores opportunities/constraints in health promotion, resolving value conflicts, and responding to ethical challenge. Best practices in nutriceuticals science, understanding the process of drug/nutrient interactions, and introduction to nutritional supplements, symptoms treated by supplements. Online courses require students have basic to intermediate computer savvy, are skilled in personal discipline, task organization and time mgmt. Students should expect to invest a minimum of 2/3 hrs of study for every hour of lecture in order to be successful in this course.
