GEO299E GIS Programming
Introduces the fundamentals of programming within the context of Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Using ESRI's ArcGIS as the software platform, covers concepts used in automating mapping procedures, handling different types of data, and building custom functions. Provides opportunities to understand the dynamic inner workings of GIS using Python programming language. Prerequisites: WR 115, RD 115, and MTH 20 or equivalent placement test scores; and GEO 265.
