For this remote class, the majority of work is done in Zoom Live Classes. With instructor approval, you are also able to move through the class in a self-paced format. This encourages students who feel comfortable with topics to work ahead and those who need to spend extra time exploring a topic to work at their own pace.
All work is accessed via Google Docs, D2L, Zoom videos. There will be pre-recorded videos available on all topics covered as well as links to: lecture notes, homework, and skill-building sets for each. All class content will be presented in an outline format (Math Lesson Plan) and available through your D2L.
Tuesdays and Thursdays are live classes via Zoom and accessed from D2L and emailed links. These are for those who would like to participate in a live setting. We will not cover the breadth of the class topics due to time constraints. However, all topics have pre-recorded videos available from the Math Lesson Schedule on your D2L. The times for lessons will be 6:00pm - 8:15pm. If students are not able to make the live class, the option to attend the morning class (9:30am - 11:45am) is an option. Check with your instructor for the link.
Meeting with Students:
There will be 1-to-1 tutoring/homework help sessions available each week by appointment only. These are not required but available weekly.
Drop in Homework Help before each Live class (5:30p-6:00p) is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
