Technology:

Students must have the ability to upload hand-written lab work to the D2L assignment dropbox (e.g., scan, image, create pdf, etc.). No special lab equipment is required beyond a calculator, metric ruler, protractor and graph paper. You will use a scientific calculator (fancy programmable kind is NOT necessary, any calculator with basic scientific functions).

Instructor comments:

The course is 100% online. All online materials are linked through the D2L class shell, and link to freely available open access content. No need to buy any textbooks or pay for online software.

The successful student will be able to work independently, and stay on top of a weekly schedule of reading, do-it-yourself labs, online quizzes and discussion forums for interaction with other students in the class. There are no in-person meeting requirements.
