Details about this class

You will participate in the deep swim pool and learn the techniques and responsibilities for teaching Water Exercise. You will need to wear a swim suit each day to class and be prepared to get into the water with use of a water exercise belt for buoyancy. There will be lecture and pool time as well as some out of class work visiting other water exercise facilities/classes, watching water exercise classes online and practice teaching.  This is a course that prepares you to take the Aquatic Exercise Association certification and prepares you to teach water exercise.  


There is no special technology needed for this course.

Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class. It is important to log in as soon as the class starts to see what the participation requirements are.
