Reboot NW is a federally funding training and employment grant through the Department of Labor. Scholarships are available to assist qualifying candidates with training and skill upgrade in IT/Software and Manufacturing occupations.

Willow Creek Testing Center, a Pearson Vue Certified testing center, administers more than 100 types of professional and educational certification exams.

Free Certified Production Technician Training
Certified Production Technician (CPT) is a job where you can:
- Work with your hands
- Use machines and/or hand tools
- Starting wages up to $17 per hour
- Work for a company that expects you to move up!
- Start with only a High school diploma or high school equivalency
The CPT is an industry recognized credential that will help our WorkSource customers get employed in the manufacturing/production industry. The course covers four key competency areas: Safety, Quality Practices and Measurement, Maintenance Awareness, and Manufacturing Processes and Production.

Customers can self register for the information session through their worksourceportlandmetro.org account account or staff can register them. However, pre-registration highly encouraged but is not required to attend an information session.
* Before acceptance into the course participants must meet the following:
- 18 or older
- Legal to work
- WorkSource Customer
- Basic to intermediate computer skills
- Bronze or higher level NCRC award (offered at WorSource for Free!)
The purpose of On-the-Job Training contract (OJT) is to assist businesses in training and retraining skilled, productive workers. OJT's may be used to help train newly hired employees. WorkSource eligibility required. Please check the OJT flyer for details, and contact the Regional Business Specialist.
