Important information for applicants
Students who are applying for entry into a health care profession where practicum and/or field training is required for certification or licensure, need to be advised that they will have to pass a drug screen as well as a criminal history check (CHC) as a condition of their acceptance into a medical, dental or community facility.
It is the full responsibility of the applicant to notify their program department should any contact information change (i.e. phone number, address, email). Failure to comply with this requirement may prevent admission.
Information Sessions – Winter 2019
These sessions provide information about program requirements, selection criteria, application, procedures, deadlines, as well as strategies to improve your admissions prospects. The sessions will last about 60 to 90 minutes and include a Q&A following the presentation. You do not need to RSVP, but please arrive on time.
Please remember that you must pay to park on any PCC campus (weekends excluded). Short-term parking permits can be found at kiosks around each campus – check the campus map to find parking closest to the information session venue.
For maps and campus information, see Class Locations.
The Health Admissions Office offers information sessions for all of our programs each and every quarter term. If the following information is out of date, please check back again soon for updates on future dates and times. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please contact the Health Admissions Office at 971-722-4795 for more information
During the winter months it is important to be prepared for the possibility of inclement weather prompting college closures or delays. If for some reason PCC closes, the information sessions will not be held and will be rescheduled for a later date. Alerts are displayed on the MyPCC login page in red at the top of the page. They're also visible under "Announcements" section on the Home tab in the upper left after logging in to your MyPCC.
Please become familiar with PCC closure and delay procedures. It is also recommended that you to register with PCC Alerts in an effort to receive timely notifications and be as prepared as possible. PCC Alerts is a free service where you can sign up to receive PCC’s college closure information and emergency notifications by text and email.
