FC+ is a program at Southeast Campus that offers relationship-based support for students who are working toward college-level reading and writing courses.

Benefits of FC+

Group of Future Connect+ students

  • Personalized advising and support from a College Success Coach
  • Morning or afternoon schedules
  • Assistance with financial aid, time and stress management, and goal-setting
  • Guidance and support with out-of-school commitments like work and family
  • A free, three-credit course called College Survival and Success
  • Instructors who work together to help you successfully complete your first two terms at PCC

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible to participate in FC+, you must:

  • Have earned a high school diploma or high school equivalency
  • Place into Reading 115 and Writing 115 (see more about placement)
  • Commit to the class schedule and tuition (financial aid is available to those who qualify)
  • Be willing to make the time and financial commitment to your future to complete your college degree

FC+

FC+ places an emphasis on supporting students who meet these criteria:

  • Have graduated from our region's alternative high schools
  • Students who face hardships in applying to college
  • Students who share other non-traditional paths to college

 

While the program serves many students currently in Future Connect, all students who meet the eligibility are welcome to apply.
