Transferring to Oregon State University

Oregon State University

Oregon State University, located in Corvallis, offers over 200 undergraduate majors to their student body of approximately 30,000. Oregon State also offers over 50 online degrees. OSU has nationally recognized programs in conservation biology, agricultural sciences, nuclear engineering, forestry, fisheries and wildlife management, community health, pharmacy, and zoology. We have a dual enrollment agreement with OSU. See how many credits you’ll need, GPA requirements, and how to apply on OSU's Transfer Student Admissions site. *New admissions criteria for transfer students beginning winter 2018: Students with a 2.5 GPA or above on transferable credits will be admitted without the Math requirement. Math 105 or 111 or higher will be required within the first 45 OSU credit hours.

Classes you can take at PCC

General education classes

If you earn an AAOT degree or an ASOT-B degree from PCC, you will have finished your general education requirements at OSU. If you transfer without one of those degrees, you can check course-by-course to see how your general education classes will transfer.

Major-specific classes

These are required classes for specific programs, and the equivalent classes at PCC.

Note about catalog year: The following major information is based on current catalogs. It is recommended that students do a dual-enrollment with OSU to "lock in" the catalog year requirements. The first term that a student is admitted to OSU will determine the catalog year for baccalaureate core requirements. The date of declaration of the major will determine the catalog year for the major.
