Criminal Background Check and Drug Screening
Applicants, if selected into the CT Technologist Training Program, must successfully pass both a criminal background check and drug screen exam. The hospital affiliates will not allow any student into clinical without successful completion of both tests. Information concerning the Criminal Background Check and Drug Screening process will be made available through the program's office, Room 306 in the HT building, Sylvania campus.
You must apply for admission to PCC before submitting a CT Application. CT Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Students should plan to get application materials submitted to the Health Admissions Office by the end of Fall term. The program begins in Winter term each year. A non-refundable application fee of $25.00 is required along with the application documents. Required documents are listed on the bottom of the PCC CT Technologist Application Form. All application materials must be hand-delivered or sent by mail to the address listed below.
When applying, please submit the following items:
- $25 application fee (checks or money orders should be made out to PCC)
- Copy of RTR, RDMS, NMTCB, RTT or other certification
- Official transcripts of course completions and copies of special certifications or awards
