Before your online classes start you will want to spend some time getting comfortable with course tools in D2L. If you do decide to register for an online class you will be able to log in and access D2L and the Online Student Resource Center one week before classes begin. You will find tutorials and information on how to use D2L tools in the Online Student Resource Center.
You can also find support information and tutorial videos on the Student Help Desk website that will walk you through how to use the most common components in D2L. It's a good idea to bookmark those resources now, and schedule some time to review them before your online class begins.
On the first day of class, your instructor will expect you to be ready to engage with the course content. You will not have much time to explore and play with the various D2L tools. So make sure you understand the basics when it's time to get started. By the time your first assignment or quiz is due, you should be confident that you know how to use the technology.
