The Marketing and Communications Department is responsible for promoting the college and upholding our reputation and brand. Our brand is more than the way we look – it’s our promise to our students and community, and the core of who we are.
Our team supports the PCC community through the following:
Brand Identity Standards
The Marketing and Communications Department maintains the logo, colors, fonts, and design standards for the college. We are the keepers of the brand and the college’s primary spirit symbols: the diamond and the panther. Check out the PCC brand identity standards manual or download a PCC logo.
The Marketing and Communications Department manages all external advertising. Designing and purchasing all ads through our department ensures PCC maintains a strong, unified public presence, avoids competing internally and ensures you the best price.
The Marketing and Communications Department writes and designs brochures, flyers, posters, postcards, booklets and other printed material to promote PCC. Some major pieces we’ve created include the PCC Viewbook and our college magazine, Communities.
We produce promotional items, such as window decals, t-shirts, bobbleheads, water bottles, lapel pins, clothing and more to help our community show pride in PCC. Learn more about PCC promo items.
We work in partnership with PCC Media Production and PCC Web Services to create digital content including videos, photography, web features, digital newsletters and emails.
The Marketing and Communications Department manages the college’s main social media accounts, including Facebook, Snapchat and Instagram. We also maintain social media best practices for the PCC community. Check out PCC’s social media guidelines.
Our team manages marketing and communications for college-wide events including Commencement, In-Service, the Evening for Opportunity Gala, PCC Day at the Capitol and more. Learn more about our event lending library.
