I like to help PCC students use the library to achieve their goals. After receiving a Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) from San Jose State University in 2004, I worked in every field but librarianship: advertising, web-design, and freelance writing to name three. Eventually, I decided to put my MLIS to work and I got a job at Spokane Public Library. It was wonderful working with the public. But the sub zero winters of Eastern Washington were much too cold for me. So, I moved to Oregon where I was lucky enough to find a part-time position at PCC. I love working at PCC. The faculty, staff, and students are fantastic. I am happy to be in a place where I’m always learning something new and meeting interesting people from all walks of life. Outside of work, I enjoy barefoot running & hiking, watercolor sketching, creative writing, and film photography. My academic interests include social psychology, communication studies, and anthropology.
