Information literacy on all levels – from learning to read to learning to navigate an anti-user database – informs my approach to teaching library resources. I want to empower library users with the many great information tools we provide and with the skills to use them intelligently; when students leave PCC, they should have the foundations for a life of self-directed learning. On the side, I draw cartoons and post them to the Internet, some political, some kid-friendly, and others just randomly springing to mind. And I blog too much. For stress relief, I play guitar.
