I’ve been a librarian at PCC for more than 25 years, most at the Sylvania campus, with a few years at Cascade. I enjoy teaching classes in person and online and I especially like the opportunity to work with students one on one.

When we went fully remote in 2020, I moved with my husband to Palm Springs, back to Portland, and then to Querétaro, Mexico for a couple of years. I’m back in person at Sylvania and also work from my home nearby.

My passion is international travel. I’ve visited all continents except Antarctica, but I’m staying closer to home these days. This past summer, I was one of 75 people per year permitted to enter Mt. St. Helen’s crater. In 2024, I become eligible for permanent residency in Mexico and hope to begin living there part-time a few years later.
